All Governing bodies have restrictions on what they can and cannot do to their constituents. These limits are expressly laid out in the U.S. Constitution, the State Constitution, and City Charters. I will always stand against and vote against any politician who wishes to abuse their authority to accomplish something they don’t have the authority granted to them. I will be a protector and champion of the rights of the people of DeLand regardless of their backgrounds.
