It’s official! As of 10:30 this morning we’ve officially qualified as a candidate for DeLand City Commission Seat 5! I’m running this race because I am tired of those we elect to represent us ignore our voices every time they cast their votes on the issues. I’m running because I believe the individual is the smallest minority and that the Government’s SOLE purpose is to protect the life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness for all. This goes for Governments at even the local level. If you want a voice that will LISTEN to your public comments and actually take them into consideration rather make back room deals with the others on the commission and vote along with them and against your voices, I’m your vote.
We have a long way to go before August and we’re only beginning. We’re late in the game, but we still have a shot at winning this because a lot of you know me and know who I am and what I’m about and I need your support. We can win this, but we need the support of the people. The voters.
